Kenneth R. Hodges

Kenneth R. Hodges is a Partner with Hodges & Bemis, LLP.  He has been a practicing attorney in California since 1966 and works primarily in the areas of real estate law, real estate litigation, business law and estate planning.  Mr. Hodges handles multiple acquisitions, dispositions and financing of Commercial and Industrial Real Estate in both simple and complex transactions.

Mr. Hodges graduated with honors in Political Science from Whittier College in 1962 and received his law degree from UCLA Law School in 1966.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Hodges was employed as an attorney with the Los Angeles law firm of Hanna & Morton until 1972 when he relocated his residence to Newport Beach and opened his own Orange County law practice.  Hanna & Morton is one of the oldest law firms in Los Angeles and specializes in business litigation with an emphasis on oil and gas law.  While at Hanna & Morton, Mr. Hodges was privileged to be involved in major business transactions and business litigation cases, several of which resulted in written opinions from the California Court of Appeals.  In addition, Mr. Hodges was co-author of Title 16 of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Institute, Law of Coal Leases, Annual Supplement for a period of three years from 1969 to 1972.

He is a member of the California Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.  He is a member of various sections of those associations including the business litigation, real estate and trust and estate sections of the state and local bar associations.
